PRF BioGel in Fayetteville, GA

Natural Regeneration. Subtle Restoration. Your Own Growth Factors.

Looking for a more natural approach to under-eye hollowness, tired-looking eyes, fine lines, or early facial volume changes?

PRF BioGel is a regenerative aesthetic treatment created from your own blood. It uses concentrated platelets, fibrin, and naturally occurring growth factors to support tissue rejuvenation while providing subtle volume and structural support.

At Aesthetics of Fayetteville, PRF BioGel is most commonly used for under-eye rejuvenation, but it may also be incorporated into a customized treatment plan for other areas of the face.

What Is PRF?

PRF stands for Platelet-Rich Fibrin.

A small amount of your blood is drawn and processed using a specialized centrifugation technique to separate and concentrate components of your blood involved in healing and tissue regeneration.

Unlike traditional dermal filler, PRF is autologous, meaning it comes from your own body.

PRF contains platelets, fibrin, white blood cells, and naturally occurring growth factors that support your body's regenerative processes.

What Is PRF BioGel?

PRF BioGel takes PRF one step further.

A portion of your PRF is carefully processed to create a smooth, gel-like consistency. This allows us to use your own blood-derived product to provide subtle volume and support while encouraging gradual tissue rejuvenation.

Think of PRF BioGel as a regenerative approach rather than simply filling a space.

The goal is natural-looking improvement that develops as your body responds to treatment.

PRF BioGel for Under-Eye Hollowness

A Regenerative Approach to Tired-Looking Eyes

The under-eye area is one of the first places many people notice changes associated with aging.

You may begin to see:

  • Under-eye hollowness

  • Tear-trough shadows

  • A tired or sunken appearance

  • Fine lines

  • Crepey under-eye skin

  • Changes in skin quality

  • Loss of youthful support beneath the eyes

PRF BioGel may be an option for appropriately selected patients who want to improve the appearance of the under-eye area without immediately turning to traditional hyaluronic acid filler.

Because every under-eye concern is different, we first evaluate volume loss, skin quality, tissue position, pigmentation, and facial structure before recommending treatment.

Not every dark circle or under-eye concern is caused by volume loss, and PRF BioGel may not be appropriate for every patient.

PRF BioGel vs. Under-Eye Filler

These treatments are not interchangeable.

PRF BioGel

PRF BioGel is created from your own blood and is used with the goal of supporting natural-looking restoration and tissue rejuvenation.

Results tend to develop gradually, and a series of treatments is commonly recommended.

Hyaluronic Acid Filler

Dermal filler provides more predictable and immediate volume and structural support. It may be appropriate when a patient requires greater correction or when facial anatomy indicates that additional support is needed.

For some patients, the best treatment may actually begin in the midface or cheek rather than directly underneath the eyes.

Our goal is to determine what is causing the concern—not simply inject the area where you notice it.

How Many PRF BioGel Treatments Will I Need?

PRF is regenerative, so treatment is typically approached as a series rather than a one-time procedure.

For optimal improvement, we commonly recommend an initial series of approximately 4–5 treatments spaced 4–6 weeks apart, followed by maintenance treatments when appropriate.

Your exact treatment plan may vary depending on your age, anatomy, degree of volume loss, skin quality, treatment goals, and individual response.

What Happens During a PRF BioGel Treatment?

Your appointment begins with an assessment of your facial anatomy and treatment area.

A small amount of blood is then drawn and processed to isolate the PRF. The PRF is further prepared to create the BioGel used during treatment.

The finished product is carefully placed into the treatment area based on your anatomy and treatment goals.

Because PRF BioGel comes from your own blood, no traditional hyaluronic acid filler is required to create the BioGel.

When Will I See Results?

Some patients may notice an early improvement in the appearance of the treated area after treatment, but PRF should not be viewed as an instant-result procedure.

Improvement develops progressively as the treatment area heals and responds to the regenerative components of PRF.

For this reason, we evaluate your progress across your treatment series rather than judging the final result immediately after your first session.

PRF BioGel Recovery

Temporary swelling is expected after PRF BioGel treatment, particularly underneath the eyes.

You may experience:

  • Swelling

  • Bruising

  • Tenderness

  • Redness

  • Fullness or puffiness

  • Mild asymmetry while swelling resolves

Under-eye swelling can sometimes appear more noticeable in the morning and improve throughout the day during the healing period.

Your provider will give you specific aftercare instructions following treatment.

As with any injectable medical procedure, PRF treatment carries potential risks and complications. Your provider will discuss these with you before treatment and determine whether PRF is appropriate based on your medical history and anatomy.

Who Is a Good Candidate for PRF BioGel?

PRF BioGel may be considered for adults interested in a regenerative approach to facial rejuvenation, particularly those concerned about under-eye hollowness, early volume changes, fine lines, or declining skin quality.

However, PRF BioGel is not the right treatment for every under-eye concern.

During your consultation, we evaluate whether what you're seeing is primarily related to:

  • Volume loss

  • Skin quality

  • Pigmentation

  • Facial structure

  • Tissue descent

  • Under-eye anatomy

  • Or a combination of factors

From there, we can determine whether PRF BioGel, dermal filler, laser treatment, skincare, or a combination approach makes the most sense.

Natural Doesn't Mean One-Size-Fits-All

At Aesthetics of Fayetteville, our goal isn't to simply treat the area you're pointing to.

We look at the whole face.

Your under-eye concern may be influenced by changes in your cheeks, facial structure, skin quality, pigmentation, or tissue position. Your consultation allows us to identify the underlying cause and create a treatment plan designed specifically for you.
